Teen Programming, Registration Required 

Every first Friday from 6-9pm, the WQRC has teamed up with the Ohana Teen Program to host a different fun teen themed activity at the Hidden Creek Community Center each month!

Visit the Tigard ODHS Free Food Market on the 1st Monday of each month to access fresh fruits, vegetables, and pantry staples for you and your family!

Everyone is welcome (no names or IDs needed), and the food is free! Please bring your own bags.

Este grupo es un espacio acogedor para que las personas Latine LGBTQ+ puedan conectar, crear comunidad, compartir experiencias y celebrar quiénes somos. La reunión será bilingüe inglés y español. The Westside Queer Resource Center is bringing a Latine Queer Affinity Group to Hillsboro, and we’re excited to welcome them to Centro Cultural! This group is a welcoming space for Latine LGBTQ+ community members to connect, build community, share experiences, and celebrate who we are. The meeting will be bilingual in English and Spanish. We’re proud to serve as a host location and open our doors to this community-building space. Whether you’re looking to connect with others, find support, or simply spend time with people who share similar experiences, you’re welcome here.

This group has historically met at the Hillsboro Brookwood Library (upstairs in the Board Room), but location may vary on a monthly basis.

Trans Guyz is a peer-led social support and discussion group that meets on the third Sunday of each month at 6:00 pm. Trans Guyz Meetings are exclusively for people assigned female at birth or socialized female who now identify otherwise, including people who are trans, enby/nonbinary, FTM, two spirit, Ag/aggressive, genderqueer, affirmed male, androgynous, agender, intersex, transmasculine, genderfluid, and questioning.

To offer support and connection to as many members as possible, we currently meet in two formats.

Odd months: Online via Google Meet (January, March, May, July, September, November)

Even months: In person at the Marie Equi Center (February, April, June, August, October, December)

Trans Guyz facilitators respect and affirm the diversity of our community in terms of age, race, class, religion, ability, immigration status, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, and where people are at with their transition. Some group members are currently questioning their gender identity and not everyone in the group chooses or is able to use hormones and surgery as part of their transition.

The Marie Equi Center is accessible by mobility device, has one ADA parking space, and has gender-neutral bathrooms. Masks are required in the building. Our in-person meeting space has armless chairs and air purifiers.

Google Meet offers captions, and ASL interpretation is available in meetings upon request. Please let us know if there's something else you need to make the space or meetings more accessible: tranzguys@gmail.com.

Join the WQRC in partnership with the Calvary Lutheran Church for a relaxing night with the craft of your choice. Bring any portable craft! There will be some yarn, fiber arts tools, and jewelry-making supplies available if you don’t have a project to bring.

Connect to the community - All are welcome to attend: this is a space to connect the varied communities who share the love of crafting.
